Key Purpose of the job:
The Head of Business Excellence & Transitions would be a key
member of the SSC Leadership team. The role involves extensive interactions
with senior Vodafone leadership in India and Global teams.

As Head of Business Excellence, the incumbent would
be responsible for functional training, metrics reporting & analysis,
partner/customer relationship management, knowledge management and Continuous
improvement initiatives within the SSC. The role would also be expected to
demonstrate benefits of Shared Service Operations through Cost reduction,
productivity enhancements and customer satisfaction. The incumbent will be responsible for driving
Process Excellence with external benchmarking to to position and SSC as a world
leader in SSO space. Also, achieve process rigour thereby leading to efficiency
and productivity.
As Head of Transitions, the incumbent needs to ensure smooth
migration of processes to the SSC. The incumbent would be responsible for
providing strategic direction, plan, lead and ensure seamless migration of
the identified processes from the Vodafone businesses to the SSC through an
effective governance process. The role would be expected to ensure a smooth
and conflict free transition adhering to KPIs, necessary compliances and deliver
excellent & world class services from the SSC. The incumbent will have
the opportunity to work across Vodafone India and the Shared Services
Organization leadership in the areas of growth, program management,
governance, and controls/risk management. This role affords the
incumbent the opportunity to set up a Transitions Centre of Excellence, to
hire, develop and lead a highly motivated team actively engaged in migrating
processes to the SSC and ensuring customer satisfaction for the services
delivered.

Drive successful and seamless execution of defined
migration opportunities as per agreed milestones

Lead migration programme for the identified
services and resources to the SSC

Ensure that SSC service migration is in line with
operating procedures and best practices

Deliver migration services efficiently and against
defined milestones

Establish key metrics and result areas for SSC that
drives SLA delivery at the organization level
·
Seek
opportunities to reduce migration costs
